Are the courses compliant with OSHA?

Yes, The American Heart Association has an alliance program with OSHA, which you can view more information on The American Heart Association’s website.

Where are the classes taught?

At the moment classes are taught on site.

Are there any tests?

First-Aid, and Healthcare Provider courses will require a test at the end of training.

Will I receive a book prior to class?

If you would like a book we can order one for you at an additional cost or borrow a book there is a $15.00 deposit required which will be returned at the end of class.

Do you accept a credit card as payment?

Not at this time either cash or check (you will receive a receipt). If you are a company we issue invoices (net 15).

How do I register?

You can register at the Contact Us/Registration page or call our toll free # at (877) 312-2899.

How long is the certification good for?

CPR, AED, and First-Aid certification is good for 2 years and BBP certification is good for 1 year.

Do I receive a certificate or completion card for Bloodborne Pathogen Training (BBP)?

You receive a completion certificate.

Are there group discounts?

Yes, check out our Courses We Offer/Pricing page or contact us for large groups.

How many classes can I take at once?

There’s no limit to the number of classes you can take in a day.

When will I get my completion card?

Cards can be given at the end of the class provided we have the participants name beforehand.  We also provide completion certificates if needed before you receive your card for proof of certification.

How long are the classes?

The class length is determined by breaks/lunch, discussion and the student to manikin ratio.

  • 1:1 (1 student per manikin) 1-2 hours
  • 2:1 (2 students per manikin) 2-3 hours
  • 3:1 (3 students per manikin) 3-4 hours
